Arthritis

Our approach to the treatment of arthritis related pain syndromes is by offering interventions aimed at increasing function and decreasing pain. We usually treat patients referred by their primary care provider, rheumatologist or surgeon. Even though conservative treatment including physical therapy, medications and lifestyle changes, are usually successful in treating most patient with arthritis related pain syndromes, sometimes interventions are indicated.

Interventional pain management techniques such as: intra-articular injections (shoulder, knee, hip), trigger point injections, sacroiliac joint injections and facet injections are available as an adjunct to conservative therapy.
